Theology by Strange exists because I believe theology matters for the life of faith.

To know God rightly is not a secondary concern, but central to Christian discipleship. This site is my attempt to teach Christian theology with clarity, seriousness, and faithfulness to Scripture, treating the study of God not as an abstract exercise, but as a necessary and formative task for the church.

This is not a space for hot takes, reactionary commentary, or religious noise.

I am not interested in chasing trends or offering quick opinions. Instead, I want to slow down and give careful attention to what God has revealed in his Word and how the church has been called to understand and confess that revelation. Scripture deserves patient reading, disciplined interpretation, and humble reflection.

My aim here is to think theologically in conversation with the church across time.

Doctrine does not arise from speculation or novelty, but from sustained engagement with Scripture within the life of God’s people. What I write here is shaped by the biblical text, informed by the church’s theological inheritance, and written with the conviction that truth is something to be received and taught, not invented.

I offer this work as an act of teaching and discipleship.

Theology is not merely information to be collected, but understanding that forms belief, worship, and life before God. If this site helps others think more carefully about Scripture, doctrine, and the God who has made himself known, then it has served its purpose.
